Job Title: Training & Checking Aircrew Officer

We are seeking a highly experienced aviation professional to join our team as a Training and Checking Aircrew Officer.

The position will consist of administrative duties, as well as check and training of flight and medical crews, plus aircrew line shifts as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist pilots with aeromedical, search and rescue, emergency and counter disaster operations.
  • Ensure captains are promptly advised on matters affecting aircraft safety or effectiveness.
  • Carry out duties and training in accordance with the Operations Manual.
  • Conduct training and checking duties for all flight and medical crew.
  • Oversee currency and recency requirements for all flight and medical crew.

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Minimum 1000 hours as a Helicopter Aircrew Officer.
  • Certificate IV Aviation – Aircrew Officer.
  • Winch Endorsement.
  • Demonstrated training and checking experience within the EMS industry.
  • Minimum 100 hours NVIS experience.
