Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team at The Benevolent Society. This role requires you to be registered with the NDIS as a "Registered Behavioural Support Practitioner" at a "Core" or "Proficient" level.

About Your New Role

You will be partnering with Allied Health Professionals to create personalised support plans for your clients – spanning from children to adults, covering a wide range of needs and abilities. You will have a dynamic caseload that includes a variety of intellectual and psychosocial diagnoses. Your expertise will be showcased in identifying and phasing out restrictive practices, ensuring our clients receive the most effective and empowering support.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative behavioural assessments and support plans.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to empower individuals and drive progress.
  • Uphold NDIS standards, fostering trust and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration to practice as a Core or Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner in accordance with the NDIS Capability Framework.
  • A minimum of 3 years' demonstrated experience in behaviour support intervention and the development of behaviour support plans for a variety of people with disabilities.
  • An ability to appropriately respond to needs of people of all abilities and cultural backgrounds.
  • Sound interpersonal communication skills for negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $93,750 - $111,250 (inclusive of superannuation), reflecting the location in the New England region NSW.
