Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team at Peakline Pty Ltd. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of capital and used underground mining materials handling equipment, gearboxes, roof supports, drive line equipment, winching equipment, hydraulic power packs, and hydraulic driven equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance of onsite fixed and mobile plant, including completion of maintenance schedule reports.
- Welding and minor fabrication, minor painting, steam cleaning, and ancillary duties.
- Documenting proof of tolerance assembly procedures in job cards.
- Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and internal Quality Systems.
- Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of designated workplace and workshop.
- Producing allocated jobs within estimated and designated hours.
- Training apprentices in correct work procedures.
- Assisting in fault finding of operating machinery, equipment, plant, and identifying bottlenecks and maintenance needs.
- Current trades certificate or equivalent qualifications.
- Right to work in Australia.

Salary range: $73,150 - $78,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
