About the Role:We are seeking an experienced educator to teach and deliver sport business modules at a leading institution in sports education. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement innovative teaching methods, technologies, and real-world applications into the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:- To teach on designated modules and courses of study as defined by the school's leadership.
- Maintain academic standards and adhere to course and module specifications.
- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Prepare and deliver lectures and seminars across various levels of study, challenging students to engage in critical discourse and rational thinking.
- Supervise student projects, field trips, and placements as necessary.
- PhD or near completion Master's degree in Sports Management or Business.
- Membership of relevant higher education bodies and teaching qualification.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in a Higher Education Institution.
- Industry experience, particularly in the sports industry.
- Course leadership experience and extensive teaching experience in HE.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment with set goals, requiring excellent communication skills and IT skills. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and maintain accurate records of student progress.
