About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. In this role, you will provide transactional and regulatory legal advice across a diverse range of banking and finance activities to support multiple brands and business units.

  • Structuring and settling banking and finance transactions.
  • Providing advice on legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Legal support for regulatory projects.
  • Commercial, quality and timely legal advice on marketing and promotional activities.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality legal support in a dynamic banking environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical legal skills and a practical understanding of banking and finance transactions.
  • Experience advising on SME business structures and foundational knowledge of property, corporate and trust law.
  • A practical working knowledge of key legislation, rules, codes of practice and guidance.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
  • Confidence in leading complex transactions and projects.
