- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, using evidence-based practice to inform decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and carers, providing education and support to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in mental health nursing, including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide person-centered care, prioritizing the needs and preferences of each patient.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic and ever-changing healthcare environment.
