Trainer and Rider

We are seeking an experienced young horse trainer and rider to join our team at Warwick Farm in Sydney.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of educating young horses on the ground, managing a small team of horses and staff, and working under the direction of the head foreperson.
The position requires full-time work with early morning starts and weekend work on a roster rotation.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of 3 years full-time professional experience in the role and be able to demonstrate reliability, excellent horsemanship skills, and knowledge of horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate young horses on the ground
- Manage a small team of horses and staff
- Work under the direction of the head foreperson
- Develop and implement training programs
- Maintain accurate records of horse condition and health
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years full-time professional experience as a young horse trainer and rider
- Proven ability to educate young horses on the ground
- Excellent horsemanship skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in horse training and handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing
