About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Orthopaedics Ward team at Newcastle Private Hospital on a Full-time or Part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical setting.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes expert surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses, and allied health professionals.

As a Registered Nurse in this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care to patients with various conditions, including Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, and Bariatrics.
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure patient safety and developing individualized care plans.
  • Providing supervision, direction, and guidance to Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistant in Nursing (AINs) to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assessing the perioperative nursing care provided to optimize patient outcomes.
