About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Environmental Specialist to join our dynamic team, working on complex environmental projects across mining, infrastructure, and other key industries.
Key Responsibilities
As an Environmental Specialist, you will:
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary environmental projects, with a focus on mine closure and land rehabilitation.
- Manage and execute mine closure projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and sustainable outcomes.
- Develop and implement environmental assessments, site assessments, and remediation plans.
- Collaborate with clients to deliver innovative solutions for their environmental challenges.
- Work closely with our team to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and deliver exceptional results.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- University degree in Environmental Science, Management, or Engineering.
- Proven experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on mine closure and land rehabilitation.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and best practices for land rehabilitation and post-mining land use.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
