Project Controls Professional

We are seeking a skilled Project Controls Professional to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. As a key member of our commercial function, you will be responsible for creating progress reports, liaising with site construction teams, and working closely with your project director/manager to plan, schedule, and programme projects using specialist software.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delve into the costing of projects to identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze unit costs for productivity and develop standard reporting commercially for the group.
  • Provide commercial and contractual support to live projects where necessary.
  • Manage cost reporting, cost tracking, and forecasting while building and standardizing these practices across the business.

About You:

  • You hold a tertiary degree in civil engineering or a similar field with 8+ years of experience.
  • You have a strong background as a quantity surveyor/commercial manager/engineer with a commercial/financial understanding of civil projects.
  • You possess a track record of delivering technically challenging projects within time and cost constraints.
  • You are proficient in using specialist project controls software, including Power BI, Candy, and Excel.
  • You have a practical-minded approach, excellent communication skills, and a solutions-orientated attitude.
