Administrative Assistant Role

KU Craigieburn Children's Centre offers a Long Day Care Service with an Administration Role. The centre is located in a beautiful area next to Mount Ridley College.

This purpose built multicultural service values diversity and inclusion, serving families from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds within the Hume Council community. The service has 74 places and plays an integral part in the community.

We are seeking an organised administrator to provide essential administrative duties for the efficient operation of the service. This will include administering accounts payable, accounts receivable, fee processing, and assisting the Director with tasks such as filing and record keeping.

The role also involves being the friendly point of contact for families and providing warm welcomes at drop off and pick up times. The working hours are 5 hours per day, Monday-Friday.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in administration
  • Prior experience with Childcare Services
  • Experience with Childcare Funding and Childcare Subsidies and Fee processing
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A collaborative team approach
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to establish, maintain and enhance positive internal and external relationships
  • A positive and 'can do' attitude
  • Previous experience and/or relevant qualification
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
