Job Description

Buildability Group, a boutique consultancy, is seeking a skilled Client Side Assistant Project Manager to join their team. With a proven track record of success in various sectors, including health, education, retail, hospitality, commercial, residential, and aviation, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contracts administration and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution;
  • Prepare and manage monthly forecast budgets and cost reporting;
  • Lead tender processes and negotiate contractual terms and conditions;
  • Manage variation claims, progress claims, and financial matters according to contractual obligations and timelines;
  • Develop short-term programs, including resource levels, for assigned project areas;
  • Assist in the design phase of projects.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related disciplines;
  • Proven leadership and management experience;
  • Strong knowledge of contracts administration;
  • Excellent negotiation and cost management skills;
  • Polished approach when dealing with clients.
