Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Signal Processing Engineer to play a critical role in the development of our sonobuoy systems product space, focusing on network/RF systems.
This position involves a software/hardware mix, requiring a broad range of technical skills. Our products cater to customers worldwide, from portable devices to large-scale systems.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of advanced sonar systems, prioritizing embedded systems, RF systems hardware, real-time processing, and C++ design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate laboratory equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Design and implement network understanding and experience, ensuring distributed systems operate efficiently over Ethernet.
- Develop and test hardware, leveraging Linux and Windows application programming and deployment expertise.
- Proven background in algorithm/math/physics, with experience in relevant technical skills.
- Strong understanding of real-time processing, embedded systems, and RF systems hardware.
- C++ design and implementation skills, with experience working on product code bases.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing collaboration and open communication.
- Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 clearance.
A competitive salary ranging from AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
