Building Services Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and preparing detailed design solutions for building services projects
  • Creating contract documentation for tendering and construction purposes
  • Managing multi-discipline design projects from concept through to completion, including consultation with the project team
  • Inspecting existing building services on site and reviewing construction works
  • Liaising with equipment suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest building services technology by researching new products, standards, and design practices

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications as recognized by Engineers Australia
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline engineering consultancy environment, with a focus on building services
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Australian Standards
  • Proven experience managing multi-discipline projects
  • Ability to travel and work away from home, including overnight stays and extended periods if required
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may require manual labor, such as carrying tools and equipment
  • A current C class driver's license
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills
