Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, with an estimated annual income of $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including salary packaging up to $15,899 per year, meal and entertainment cards, discounted private health insurance, and access to our Employee Assistance Program.

Job Description

As a Residential Care Worker at Helping Hand, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional personal care services to our residents. This includes ensuring that their care plans are implemented, supporting them to live independently, and contributing to the development of their care plans.

You will also have the opportunity to work as part of a warm and friendly team, dedicated to providing outstanding care and support to our residents.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or a nursing qualification, with completion of placement stages
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience as a care worker, preferably in an aged care setting
  • A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one
