Transport Operations Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage allocations, route planning, and dispatching metropolitan deliveries to ensure smooth and efficient shift operations.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them.

Requirements:

  • Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocating is highly regarded, but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills – experience with TMS is highly regarded.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the Sydney metro area.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
