The Opportunity

We are seeking qualified and experienced Power Generation Equipment Operators to join our team.

As a Power Generation Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining diesel reciprocating engines and power generation equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain diesel reciprocating engines and power generation equipment
  • Operate instrumentation and process control systems
  • Undertake routine inspections and maintenance on power station ancillary equipment
  • Undertake typical housekeeping duties
  • Stock inventory
Requirements
  • WA Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade
  • Current manual drivers' licence
  • Extensive experience and sound knowledge of power systems and control circuitry
  • Extensive experience in running and maintaining Diesel reciprocating engines
  • A high standard of fault finding and trouble-shooting ability
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Ability to work autonomously in remote location areas
  • Proficient with computers and monitoring equipment to measure, record and adjust the power station within allowable operating parameters
  • Must hold working rights in Australia
  • Hold, or willing to obtain a National Police Clearance issued within 12 months
