Bathurst Cathedral Parish offers a unique opportunity for a Bible college graduate to take on a full-time, two-year training role as an assistant minister. Located in Bathurst, this position involves leading traditional and contemporary Anglican services with reverence and joy.

As an assistant minister, you will contribute to the life and witness of the cathedral congregations through preaching, leading Bible studies, participating in evangelistic activities, and assisting underprivileged people.

The role also includes equipping you for funeral, baptism and wedding ministry, hospital and home visitation, calendar management, and administrative skills.

Discernment regarding ordination can be discussed with the bishop.

Applicants should send a covering note, a brief CV, and the names of two referees, including their current minister.

If desired, candidates may contact the Senior Associate Minister prior to application.

This position is generously funded by the Bush Church Aid Society, making applicants eligible to become BCA field staff members. Contact the Rev'd Greg Harris to discuss further.
