Curriculum Specialist Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to support a major university reform as a Curriculum Quality and Sustainability specialist. The role involves providing expert advice on curriculum strategy and operations, collaborating with academic and professional staff, and driving continuous improvement in curriculum quality and assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead curriculum assessment and analysis to ensure alignment with quality and sustainability principles.
  • Offer high-level guidance on process design to enable effective integration of technology and successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders to build strong partnerships that support collaboration and effective uptake of strategic initiatives.
  • Manage resources, systems, and tools to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Support and guide team members to foster innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic alignment.
  • Oversee staff performance, development, and career progression in line with operational needs.
  • Manage risk and maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive working environment aligned with University policies.

About You:

  • Passionate about education reform and achieving better student outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and exercise sound judgement.
  • Excellent project management capabilities with a record of delivering complex initiatives on time and to a high standard.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills to build trust and drive change.
  • Understanding of education policy, governance, systems, and decision-making in a university or public sector context.
