Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Trolley Maintenance Assistant to join our Services team, ensuring trolleys are available and stores are clean and hygienic for customers and colleagues.

About The Position

As a key member of our proactive team, you will work alongside us to complete daily tasks, including sweeping shop floors, cleaning bathrooms and trolley bays, emptying bins and collecting trolleys from the car park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete allocated tasks in the daily planner such as sweeping shop floors, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays and team room, and emptying bins.
  • Collect trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas.
  • Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
  • Assist customers by answering questions or providing directions.
Requirements:
  • A motivated mindset, love of retail and passion for people.
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10 kgs.
  • Flexibility to work in different environments.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.
