Our project portfolio includes dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation - the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the pursuit and delivery of civil construction projects in Queensland.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing every stage of the project lifecycle, from identification through to project delivery, ensuring timely completion, staying within budget, and aligning with our company's values and strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals with a strong focus on safety and successful project outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient project execution and on-time delivery
- Oversee project financials to maintain budget control and ensure clear, accurate reporting
- Review and approve critical project documentation, including Notices of Delay, variations, EOT submissions, and progress claims
- Prepare detailed reports
- Manage all facets of head contracts, sub-contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure compliance and performance
- Monitor cash flow and apply effective cost control measures to ensure the financial health of the project
- Identify strategic project opportunities and contribute to bid preparation to secure future work
About You:
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- RPEQ accreditation
- Proven experience in tendering and delivering high-profile TMR projects
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Willingness to take on regional projects, including living away from home when required
- Extensive experience with Project Management software/tools and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and TMR Standards
- A proven track record of building, leading and motivating project teams to achieve high-performance outcomes
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a creative, adaptable approach to overcoming challenges
Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience
