Key Responsibilities

  1. Represent the Company Professionally

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and clients, representing the company in a professional and competent manner at all times.

PPM Schedule Management

Collate and complete the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in accordance with laid-down procedures.

Maintenance and Repair Work

Prioritize maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Fault Identification and Reporting

Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery, promptly advising the Facilities Manager of findings and providing recommendations for suitable replacement.

Issue Reporting and Management

Advise the Facilities Manager of any repair and maintenance issues that may impact the smooth running of our facilities.

Subcontractor Management

Manage the attendance of subcontractors, as required, in line with the Facilities Manager's requests and company procedures.

Surveys and Reporting

Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the Facilities Manager, providing detailed information on maintenance and repair activities.

Minor Alterations and Installations

Perform minor alterations and installations within your technical competence, in accordance with current specifications and company procedures.

Administrative Tasks

Maintain accurate Time Sheets and Mileage Logs, as required, and attend training courses as necessary to ensure your job skills keep pace with technical developments.

Health and Safety Compliance

Comply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Additional Responsibilities

Comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the Line Manager, and ensure company vehicles (where provided) are kept clean, well maintained, and serviced as required.
