Lead Electrical Team Supervisor

This is a key leadership role overseeing pole installation and associated distribution line works across large-scale infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will lead construction teams delivering major energy transition projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to project standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the safe installation, replacement, and maintenance of power poles and associated equipment.
  • Manage crews to ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and project requirements.
  • Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and enforce safety compliance at all times.
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, and client representatives to coordinate works.
  • Monitor progress against schedules and provide daily reporting to site management.
  • Mentor and support team members to maintain high performance and strong safety culture.
Requirements:
  • OHS Construction Card (White Card).
  • Current Driver's Licence (HR preferred).
  • High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging/Rigging advantageous).
  • Certificate III in ESI – Distribution or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven supervisory experience in pole and line construction projects.
  • Previous FIFO experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
  • Two contactable work-related references.
