We are seeking a skilled Food Safety Specialist to join our team in Darwin.

About the Role

This role combines Food Safety & Compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental monitoring. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance, conducting audits and reporting across both key areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure Food Safety standards are met
  • Record findings from audits and report back to management with results
  • Assist in inductions to ensure all staff are aware of Company requirements
  • Provide specialist advice on Food Safety/HACCP and Halal matters
  • Analyse customer complaints, including food poisoning allegations and other safety issues
Requirements:
  • Degree in Microbiology or related field is essential
  • Previous experience in Food Safety role is highly desirable
  • Exposure to commercial or factory setting
