We are seeking a passionate and experienced chef to join our team at HMAS Albatross in Nowra. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our Defence personnel. Your passion for quality, flavour, and presentation is essential in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining our catering standards.
The Position:- Prepare buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and events
- Uphold catering standards, comply with OH&S and HACCP regulations, and maintain a strong focus on waste reduction
- Support kitchen operations by managing inventory, receiving supplies, and monitoring cold room controls
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Proven experience in large commercial kitchens
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, allergen management, and food safety
- Passionate about quality, with a focus on presentation and attention to detail
- Goal-oriented, committed to personal and organisational success
