Senior Structural Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering structural engineering services throughout the project lifecycle.

About the Position

  • This is a mid-senior level position that requires a strong background in structural engineering and experience in senior design engineer roles.
  • As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for mentoring and facilitating the technical development of more junior resources.
  • You will also assist with bid preparation and submittals as required.
  • You will develop and maintain strong client relationships on projects and winning new work from these relationships.

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in structural engineering or a similar field.
  • Significant experience at a senior engineer level, ideally within a consulting engineering background.
  • Experience with structural investigations of existing structures and construction phase inspections if required.
  • Flexible professionals who can work on projects from minor reviews to major structural developments.
  • Previous responsibility across the full project lifecycle, including project delivery.
  • Chartered engineering status is desirable, or eligible to apply for CPEng/NER.
  • Understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards and demonstrated capability in the design of RC/PT concrete, structural steel, and mass timber.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as RAM Concept, RAPT, Spacegass, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
