Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Sales Operations Manager to join our team in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of sales planning processes, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage accurate sales forecasts in collaboration with the Channel Leads & Marketing team.
  • Analyse historical sales data and market trends to predict sales trends.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain & marketing teams to align inventory plans with sales forecasts.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance against targets.
  • Plan sales promotions across channels with channel leads to drive Sell out and Sell In plans.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales promotions with the marketing calendar.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of Channel Sales Management / Trade Marketing / Sales development experience in consumer goods industry.
  • Proven experience in sales forecasting, sales planning, promotions planning, channel strategy, route to market strategy, new launch planning and inventory planning
  • Clear understanding of sales and marketing operations.
  • Experience developing sales targets / budgets and driving revenue accountability across sales team with and without reporting relationship.
