Electrical Design Leader Role

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Design Leader to drive the successful execution of electrical design scopes across high-value infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project strategy and planning in collaboration with clients to address electrical design needs">
  • Define key milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies aligned with project goals">
  • Oversee implementation of electrical design projects, ensuring quality, cost, and time benchmarks are met">
  • Manage design teams, digital engineers, and subcontractors to maintain technical excellence">
  • Ensure all work adheres to statutory standards and client requirements">
  • Represent client interests in leadership meetings and key decisions where appropriate">
  • Maintain strong relationships with asset owners, clients, and authorities to unlock new project opportunities">
  • Contribute to tenders, client meetings, and presentations as part of business development">

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • ">
  • Undergraduate Electrical Engineering qualification recognised by Engineers Australia">
  • 10 to 15+ years' experience in the Electrical Supply Industry">
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary design teams and large-scale projects">
  • Strong commercial, stakeholder and project management skillset">
  • Highly proficient in project management tools and software">
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a focus on outcomes">
