As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with East Grampians Health Service, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our medical imaging department.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including CT scanners and X-ray machines. You will work closely with clinicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.

You will also be expected to:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Medical Imaging) or recognized equivalent
  • AHPRA registration or ability to obtain
  • Victorian Radiation Use Licence
  • Demonstrated expertise in general radiography, CT, PACS, and RIS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
