As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities. In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and testing of wet fire systems, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct regular inspections and testing of wet fire systems according to AS1851-2012 standards.
  2. Perform service and repairs on various types of fire systems, including identifying and resolving complex issues.
  3. Build relationships with clients through effective communication and ensure their needs are met.
  4. Participate in call-outs as per roster, including after-hours emergencies, and provide timely support.
  5. Mentor and supervise apprentices to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  6. Evaluate and recommend solutions to improve fire protection systems and services.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the fire industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Registration as a sprinkler fitter and relevant certifications (e.g., EWP Licence).
  • Current White Card certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
