Head Chef Opportunity at Gateway Hotel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at the Gateway Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and lead a high-performing kitchen team to achieve exceptional results
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our guests
  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene practices are maintained at all times
  • Collaborate with our events team to deliver customized menus and exceptional service for special events and functions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our culinary offerings

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve exceptional results
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge, with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Trade cooking qualifications and a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
