About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our People Technology team at Coles Group. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering quality technology outcomes at pace, working closely with multiple teams, stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in the area of Payroll, specifically within the SAP SuccessFactors ECP module.
  • Liaise and coordinate with technology teams and other teams across the Coles Payroll ecosystem to ensure delivery of projects and resolution of incidents.
  • Design and implement solutions to complex payroll requirements, ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configuration and processes, as well as strong experience with integration technologies in on-prem and Cloud technologies.
About You

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of SAP Payroll Process tools, such as the Payroll Control Centre (PCC), and in-depth knowledge of the SAP ECP module, including configuration, schema, and rules. You'll also need to be certified and experienced in implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.

As a Senior Engineer, you'll be accountable for ensuring work produced follows standards and best practice methodologies, and be responsible for scoping, estimation, build, and delivery of projects and changes. You'll also participate in stakeholder discussions to identify business needs and develop technical requirements, as well as drill down into technical issues to solve complex and detailed problems.

You'll be required to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, working closely with both on and offshore teams. Your analytical and problem resolution skills are exceptional, with a strong understanding of incident and problem management.
