About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our water resources team, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of projects across transport, defence, and other market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver drainage, hydrology, and hydraulic modelling and design projects while ensuring technical excellence.
  • Check and review project outputs to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Support business development activities, including client liaison and proposal preparation.
  • Collaborate with a large number of professionals in various geographies and build relationships with internal and external clients across multiple sectors.
  • Provide direct supervision, leadership, and mentoring of junior staff to assist in their professional development.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering and CPEng (highly regarded).
  • Strong client focus, high level of motivation, and dedication, with the ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and communicate with various stakeholders.
  • An appetite for fast-paced project delivery, with the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience with water resource modelling and design packages such as TUFLOW, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, and others.
  • Good working knowledge of ARR 2019, TMR Drainage Manual, and QUDM.
