About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Operator to join our team at Brunel Australasia's Yatala facility. As an Electrical Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for building electronic, electro-mechanic, and mechanic assemblies or sub-assemblies to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use of hand tools, including torque drivers, to assemble and test products.
  • Final testing of products and assembly of brackets and clamps.
  • Build electronic, electro-mechanic, and mechanic assemblies or sub-assemblies to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor the availability of parts, tools, and machines needed to complete products in the relevant subsequent steps of the overall assembly process.
  • Operate specialized tools and machines, and maintain their functionality.
  • Packaging items into boxes and pallets.
  • Lift truck operation (training provided).
  • Plan your own work steps in cooperation with other team members.
  • Assist in resolving routine manufacturing-related problems affecting daily operations.
  • Manual handling involved in this role, including stacking items on crates/pallets for dispatch.

Requirements

  • Experience in electrical assembly is highly desirable.
  • High level of detail/accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with 1Nm, 4.5Nm, and 7Nm torque drivers would be beneficial.
  • Experience with hand tools.
  • Problem-solving skills and a good attitude.
  • Ability to follow repetitive processes without deviation.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow all PPE and HSE requirements.
  • Full Australian working rights.
