Job Description

In this role, you will provide support and companionship to older people living in their own homes. This may include assisting with daily tasks such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. You will also help with personal care, transportation, and social activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Help at Home: Assist with household chores, grocery shopping, and meal preparation to help our clients maintain their independence.
  • Personal Care: Provide assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and helping at mealtime or administering medication.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on appointments or shopping trips using your own car.
  • Social and Wellbeing: Engage in social activities with clients, such as outings or Healthy Living for Seniors activities.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate III in Aged Care: While not mandatory, having this qualification is an advantage.
  • Similar Experience: We're looking for candidates with experience providing client-centred care.
  • Current First Aid Certificate: Ensure you hold a current first aid certificate.
  • Driver's Licence and Vehicle: Hold a driver's licence and have access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
