Job Title: Rock Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced rock expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for conducting geological assessments and monitoring quarry reserves to ensure optimal rock quality and quantity.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor exposed reserves and rock availability at operating quarries.
• Assess quarry reserves and resources, identifying potential risks or gaps in the extraction process.
• Develop mine plans for each operating site, ensuring alignment with quarrying activities.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective geological assessments have been completed at all quarries.
• Conduct regular inspections of quarry excavations and tips according to relevant industry standards.

• Tertiary qualification in geology or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work within a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and cooperation.
• Numerical, analytical, and observation skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Current NSW drivers license and a valid passport.
