Key Challenges and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Leading Hand/Pipe Layer who has hands-on experience in pipe laying, specifically in storm water and sewer systems.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading crews on long-term projects with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship, adhering to strict deadlines, and maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of experienced pipe layers on long-term projects
  • Maintaining high-quality workmanship and adhering to strict deadlines
  • Ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste
  • Providing regular updates to supervisors and stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of best practices and procedures within the team

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:

- At least 3 years of experience as a pipe layer in storm water and sewer systems

- Experience working with Sydney Water

- Ability to read plans and complete daily worksheets

- Possession of a reliable vehicle

- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
