Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package of $115,787 - $217,995, plus 17% employer's superannuation, annual leave loading and the opportunity for a salary loading. This appointment is full-time and continuing, providing a stable and secure environment for the candidate to thrive.



Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified academic with scholarly expertise and professional qualification in actuarial studies to contribute to the department's research and teaching activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research productivity, excellent teaching skills and the ability to lead actuarial programs and/or actuarial research.



Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:




  • A PhD in Actuarial Studies or a related field;
  • Professional qualifications in actuarial science;
  • Proven research and teaching expertise in actuarial science;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
