About the Role

Ventia is seeking experienced Riggers and Scaffolders to join a program of work at the Altona Facility. This is a casual opportunity to work on a shutdown style project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Execution and Run out works associated with the shutdown
  • Utilize previous experience in shutdown style works

What You Will Be Doing

You will be working on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Execution and Run out works
  • Utilizing previous experience in shutdown style works

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Prior experience in similar roles and projects
  • Experience with Various Cranes & Lifting equipment
  • Competent developing, implementing and following risk assessments
  • Ability to use tools and equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Demonstrate ability to conduct work safely at heights
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's license
  • High Risk Work License – Intermediate and/or Advanced Rigging (RB/RI/RA)
  • Working Safely at Heights (valid within 2 years) and ability to organise a refresher course if expired
  • Confined Space (valid within 2 years) and ability to organise a refresher course if expired
  • Ability to pass a medical
  • High Risk EWP & LF - not essential but highly regarded
  • First Aid Certificate - not essential but highly regarded
  • Open or C6 Crane License - not essential but highly regarded
