Job Title: Survey Technician

We are seeking an experienced Survey Technician to join our team and contribute to the success of our long-term civil infrastructure projects in the Northern Territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret plans and mark out projects to ensure accurate and efficient execution.
  • Convert designs for use on survey rover and machine control systems.
  • Collaborate with machine control teams to optimize precision and project timelines.
  • Perform periodic surveys to verify conformance and track project progress.
  • Undertake as-built surveys for project sign-off and quantity verification.
  • Provide timely and accurate surveys for end-of-month reporting.
  • Produce clear and concise technical reports to support project decisions.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze survey data as required.
  • Assist with project administration tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • A relevant Surveying qualification – Cert IV or higher.
  • Experience working in a similar position within the Civil or Mining industry.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCad 3D Civil and Surpac software.
  • Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station, and Trimble machine guidance systems.
  • Ability to work in remote locations in a FIFO/DIDO capacity.
  • Current driver's license.
Pre-Employment Requirements:

All candidates will be required to pass a National Police Clearance, pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.
