Manage and lead a team of experienced Civil and Construction personnel to ensure project delivery in the Central Queensland region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effective management of resources to achieve project schedule
  • Directing and leading teams, engaging sub-contractors, and managing HSE standards and policies
  • Identifying and developing high levels of compliance and quality assurance
  • Overseeing plans and specifications, cost estimates, budgets, contract bids, shop drawings, and deliverable schedules
  • Managing cost, scheduling, profit and loss, labour management, invoice approval, billing, collections, inspections, close-outs, and client relations

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Demonstrating comprehensive understanding of contractual requirements
  • Able to build professional relationships with internal and external parties
  • Highly motivated and client-focused
  • Minimum five years experience as a Construction Manager
  • Proven leadership skills and knowledge of building and construction
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and analytical skills
  • Passionate about motivating and engaging others as you lead your team
  • Understanding of Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act 1991 (QBCC Act)
  • Computer literate with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • QBCC Open Builders Licence
  • Business Management
