This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective support services to children and young people with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills and qualities to assist in building a workforce that prides itself on accountability and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective support services.
  • Partner with children and young people to achieve their goals and live life the way they choose.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of support workers to ensure high-quality care and dignity are provided.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities, confidence, and emotional intelligence to resolve complex situations.
  • Ability to interact positively at all levels, including culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, behaviours of concern, and mental health concerns.
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability Services, Community Services, Children's Services, or similar field.
  • Current NSW Driver's licence, Working with Children Check, National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check, and First Aid and CPR Certification.
