Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake quality and compliance activities including audits, data analysis, research, benchmarking, and projects to identify opportunities for improvement and education.">
  • Present data and analysis of audit information at relevant committee meetings with recommendations for quality improvements.">
  • Ensure processes and systems support informed consent, supported and substitute decision making when needed.">
  • Implement processes that ensure dignity of risk is balanced with duty of care for individual consumers.">
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of adult learning methodologies and contribute to the education of staff by oversight of external training programs and the delivery of internal education sessions as required.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or a strong background in quality assurance and training within aged care.">
  • Experience with Aged Care Quality and Safety review processes including understanding of accreditation requirements.">
  • Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards Aged Care Act Quality Care Principles and relevant regulatory frameworks.">
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to handle sensitive information respectfully and confidentially.">
  • Experience in staff education and training including planning delivering and evaluating education in aged care or health settings.">
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint with good attention to detail and accuracy.">
