Job Title: Tall Player Coach
About the Role:
The role involves coaching junior athletes in developing their skills in marking, bodywork, mobility and positional craft. The coach will work with players aged 12-15, designing and delivering targeted skills development sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to coaches in planning training and match days.
- Drive a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment within the region.
- Work with individual players to improve fundamental skills and provide guidance and confidence in their football careers.
- Provide specialist coaching to key position players and educate them under your charge.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about the individual development of talented players and coaching development.
- Well-developed IT skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong coaching principles and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Ability to commit to working nights and some weekends.
- Valid Working With Vulnerable People card required.
Desirable:
- AFL Silver Coaching Accreditation (or working towards AFL Coaching accreditation).
