About the Role:

  • Lead a team of educators in implementing inclusive practices and developing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for children from birth–6 years with additional needs
  • Collaborate with external professionals to ensure children receive comprehensive support
  • Provide coaching and modelling to build educator capability and embed adaptive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming approaches

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement educational programs that cater to diverse learning needs
  2. Support children's communication styles, sensory profiles, and developmental pathways
  3. Build strong relationships with families, community organizations, and local service providers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Proficient NESA accreditation
  • Qualifications in Special Education / Inclusive Education (equivalent desirable)
  • 7-10 years experience in an inclusive education role
  • Strong knowledge of neurodiversity and inclusive education principles
