The Costa Farms and Logistics Category serves as a national leader in supply chain management and logistics solutions tailored for retail and FMCG sectors, while also offering marketing services for growers' products through our market floor.

We are currently seeking a Picker/Packer to contribute to our dynamic and supportive team. This role is offered on a casual basis with competitive remuneration.

Key Responsibilities:
In this diverse and rewarding position, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational success by collaborating with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Picking orders according to customer specifications
  • Possessing a forklift license (License to perform high-risk work)
  • Maintaining high standards of inventory and picking accuracy
  • Ensuring cleanliness and suitability of the warehouse for fresh produce storage
  • Stacking pallets to prevent damage during loading and transit
  • Adhering to all safety protocols
  • Assisting with various tasks as directed by management
  • Working in a refrigerated setting
  • Operating electric pallet jacks
  • Employing manual handling techniques with repetitive lifting of stock up to 25kg

Essential Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
  • Forklift license (License to perform high-risk work) is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Commitment to safety
  • High-risk Forklift License is desirable
