Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled manual labourer to join our team in Melbourne on an ongoing basis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading machines with coils & straight length bars (up to 20kgs)
  • Removing product from machines to designated staging areas or onto vehicles for delivery
  • Checking the tags provided on the bundle before loading and ensure that it is correct
  • Ensuring all tags are scanned after the bundles, pallets and bins are loaded
  • Operating machines for cutting, bending & straightening steel
  • In process QA checks, measuring bar length & angles
  • Carrying out production, inspection, packaging, and machine operation duties
  • Loading and unloading mesh and steel products
  • Machine Operation - Shearers and Benders
Requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proven reliability, punctuality, and commitment
  • Machine operating experience
  • Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines while adhering to OH&S practices
