Are you a seasoned software engineer with a passion for building scalable and robust applications using Nodejs and AWS cloud technologies?

Milestone IT is partnering with a leading company to find a senior fullstack developer with expertise in Nodejs and React to act as a technical lead for the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Nodejs and AWS services.
  • Mentor and coach junior developers to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and turn them into technical solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Set up and maintain the alerting and monitoring stack on Sumo Logic/Dynatrace to ensure real-time visibility into the application's health and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, both independently and in a team setting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven hands-on experience as a senior software engineer, with a strong background in Nodejs and React development.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of containerization with Docker and hands-on experience with managing containerized services on ECS.
  • Proficiency in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Sumo Logic or Dynatrace to ensure high application availability and performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and optimize code for performance and efficiency.
  • Experience working on large-scale, distributed systems and understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Continuous learner with a proactive approach to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
