Job Summary

The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health team. As a Rehabilitation Clinician, you will play a vital role in delivering consumer-centred mental health services in community and rehabilitation contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement holistic rehabilitation plans tailored to the needs of individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support services.
  • Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to promote recovery and independence.
  • Provide education and training to consumers, families, and carers on mental health and rehabilitation principles.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and eligibility for registration as an occupational therapist in Australia.
  • Proven experience in community mental health and rehabilitation settings.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of mental health principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
