Technical Excellence Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex projects and gain exposure to diverse project landscapes.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement control systems solutions for mining, mineral processing, and other projects, ensuring they meet engineering standards and client requirements.
  • Use your broad knowledge and skills to resolve complex engineering problems.
  • Take ownership of control system aspects within projects. Develop, review, and approve project deliverables as needed.
  • Produce technical documentation including reports, specifications, procedures, and manuals to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication, project alignment, and successful outcomes.
  • Mentor other engineers, fostering their professional growth within the company, including supervising and reviewing their work.
  • Support site visits and commissioning activities to ensure control systems operate as intended in real-world environments.
Requirements:
  • An engineering degree or similar tertiary qualifications.
  • A willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
  • Experience in mining and mineral processing projects/operations.
  • Ability to work independently on control systems project work.
  • Proficiency in generating and interpreting engineering documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An interest in mentoring and developing other Engineers.
